Why Summit

Real dermatology, not guesswork

Acne isn't one condition — it's many, and the right treatment depends on the type, the cause, and your skin. Our dermatology providers evaluate what's actually driving your breakouts and build a medical plan around it, whether that's prescription topicals, oral medication, hormonal therapy, or in-office care. Then we follow up and adjust until you're clear — and help you stay that way. Because it's medical dermatology, most visits are billed to insurance.

What to Expect

A plan built for your skin

At your first visit, your provider looks at the type and severity of your acne and talks through what's contributing to it — hormones, skin type, products, and history. From there you'll leave with a clear plan, which may combine prescription topical and oral medications, hormonal options, in-office treatments, and simple skincare guidance. Most acne treatments take six to twelve weeks to show real improvement because they work by preventing new breakouts, so we schedule follow-ups to track your progress and fine-tune the plan. If acne has left scarring, we can address that too with in-office resurfacing once your skin is clear.
