Dr. Blasik

Dr. Blasik, founder of Summit Dermatology and Laser Center in Brunswick and Waycross, has been practicing Dermatology and studying Laser Techniques for over 30 years. He is a Board Certified Doctor of Dermatology, a Board Certified Doctor of Internal Medicine and a Skin Cancer Specialist.

He was seeking a new location for a Laser Center focused on Dermatology and the treatment of Skin Cancer when he stopped for a visit to the Golden Isles of Georgia. He fell in love with the small town feel of Brunswick. And after discovering the need for these specialized services in the area, Dr. Blasik began to pull together a team of professionals who are committed to the common goal of providing the finest dermatological services, superior patient care and quality customer service. His medical staff is continuously trained in the latest advancements and techniques. Not only has Dr. Blasik raised the bar of excellence in delivering superb patient care and state-of-the-art services, but has set the standard by which this bar is measured. As a result, Summit Dermatology and Laser Center is the most well rounded practice of this type in the region.

In February 2010 Dr. Blasik spent 10 days volunteering in Roatan, Honduras. He was the first dermatologist on the island to volunteer at the Roatan hospital. During his stay, he changed lives by treating over 500 Roatan residents suffering from conditions that had been neglected. He continues to stay involved with patient care in this underserved community and hopes to help build a permanent clinic in the near future. This clinic will allow physicians to volunteer their knowledge and skill to aid in the continual medical care in this third world country. He will be returning to the island in October 2010.
Dr. Blasik is a participating provider for the Coastal Medical Access program (CMAP). This clinic delivers comprehensive care for individuals without insurance.

Dr. Blasik has a passion for the sea. His has been a certified Scuba diver with many certifications including Dive Master for the past 30 years.
His love of photography has taken him to many countries to capture history, as well as architecture, nature, and marine life. His photographs decorate his office. He is involved in the Civil War roundtable group locally and recently lectured on his own ancestor’s participation in the war.
